Seasonal closings of marked hiking trails

Summer maps of the High Tatras are valid only from 1 July to 31 October.
At other times, seasonal closure of trails, as marked on winter maps, applies.
From 1 November to 15 June:
The valley Ticha dolina, from the small chalet Tabor - Yellow trail
The valley Koprova dolina, from the waterfall Kmetov vodopad - Blue trail
Krivan, from the gamekeeper's building at Tri studnicky - Green trail
Krivan, from the Jamske pleso crossing - Blue trail
The valley Furkotska dolina, from the chalet Chata pod Soliskom - Blue trail

All trail closings listed are marked on signs located in the terrain.
While hiking, obey these sign markings.
Seasonal closings may vary depending on snow conditions.
Trails above the tree line which are not specially marked as open
are not regarded as marked trails as long as snow cover lasts.
